A little introduction

Trust and calm.
Before we dive.

I’m Nickolai Novikov.
My Instagram

I’m a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), with instructor training at Rainbow Divers in Nha Trang. I introduce people to diving the way I would want to learn: with clarity, patience and time.

You can talk to me about your experience, expectations and anything that makes you nervous. Together we’ll find a program that fits.

01 /

At your own pace

Understanding and practice come first. Questions and nerves are a normal part of your first scuba experience.

02 /

Preparation matters

We’ll discuss your experience, medical questionnaire, equipment and sea conditions before diving.

03 /

Respect for the sea

Observe marine life, keep your distance and leave corals untouched. Let the beauty stay where it belongs.

Beneath Nha Trang

The sea has
its own rhythm.

Beyond the waterfront are islands, reefs and a different sense of time. Diving here begins with a boat trip and understanding the day’s conditions.

Dive sites depend on weather, local access and your experience. Visibility and wildlife encounters change — neither can be promised in advance.

Conditions firstSeason, wind and waves shape the day’s route.
Your level in mindA first experience or dives within your certification.

Before you dive

A few things
you might wonder.

I’ve never dived. Can I try it?

Discover Scuba Diving needs no certification or previous diving experience. Minimum age is 10. Before booking, we’ll discuss your comfort in the water and review the medical questionnaire.

What if I feel nervous?

Tell me beforehand. We’ll start with explanations and simple skills in shallow water. You only move on when you’re ready, and you can signal discomfort at any time.

What’s included in the price?

Before booking we’ll agree the final cost, boat, equipment, transfers, food and any extras. Course materials and certification fees will also be confirmed, so you know what to expect before paying.

Can I dive before a flight?

Tell me your flight date and time before booking. You need a surface interval before flying; the appropriate interval depends on your dive profiles and number of dives. We’ll plan your last diving day with DAN and instructor guidance in mind.

What happens if the sea is rough?

The route and departure depend on conditions. If the weather is unsuitable, we’ll discuss rescheduling or cancellation. Refund and cancellation terms are agreed before payment.

What language are the sessions in?

This website is available in Russian, English and Chinese. We’ll confirm the language of teaching and briefings personally before booking; a translated website does not mean lessons are available in all three languages.
